![]() ![]() ![]() What is DirectX 9.0c?ĭirectX 9.0c is an application programmed to handle the various multimedia task on windows operated system. However, for Windows, things look different as there is one background application that makes the difference in how the multimedia task is handled. Every OS has its codes for elevating the multimedia experience, or the entire navigation process, and much more. In your case, maybe replace the DirectX folder/files you download, replacing the folder at where Bully in installed on your computer Example path may be like: C:\Steam\Steamapps\common\ Bully Scholatship Edition\DirectXĪnd within the DirectX folder run the "DXSetup.exe" file.Every operating system on any device brings its way of making life simpler for users and ensuring that productivity is kept at the highest of order. If this was successful, just delete the dx9 folder you saved in the safe place or else replace it and try a different strategy. Just press OK, setup will continue and bully will be installed. ![]() Keep pressing "next" or "proceed" or whatever and after a certain point, you will get a "command line error". Rename the "Directx9" folder in the bully installation folder to "dx9" Now cut the dx9 folder and paste it somewhere safe (just in case) Name this folder "Directx9" without the quotes, and paste into the bully install folder. Make sure it is directx9 that you download and not 10. The solution to this is as follows:ĭownload the "complete" directx9 package from here Download DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) -, , OR just google directx9 and download from whatever site you like. Evrytime it does this, it fails as the files are not complete and setup fails. You obviously have a higher wersion of directx on your PC as you say, so you don't really need to install it, but the bully setup is so built that it will try to execute the directx setup before it begins installation. Now this folder has a lot of files that are required to install directx9 on your PC. If you will go to your bully install folder, you will find a folder named "dx9" (or something related to directx9, in mine it was dx9 so I will explain using that, you make the necessary changes) there. The directX9 installation files are not complete. ![]()
